Life in the west of Melbourne coming out of covid lockdown

And so, with great trepidation, some of us began to venture out again.  Restrictions being lessened, the 5 km limit removed, it felt extraordinary to be able to leave the home.

I headed for the Werribee River, a very special place.  On a Sunday morning, quiet and peaceful.  Very few people, so I had the place to myself.  At the Riverbend park, I could sit and listen to the ducks with not a human sound to intervene.

We are very lucky to have such nature intertwined with suburbia, and I think that on the whole, people respect that and share the gratitude.
